German Retailer Now Stocks NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 & RTX 5070 Ti at Slightly Increased Prices Over MSRP

Germany’s prominent retailer has just received a fresh shipment of NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series graphics cards, featuring the much-anticipated RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti models. However, these cards come with a price increase compared to their original suggested retail prices (MSRP).

Mindfactory’s New Stock: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Now Starting at $1399

The release of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs has been eagerly awaited, especially for high-end models like the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080. Extended delays in shipment have plagued availability, making these GPUs scarce compared to alternatives like the Radeon RX 9070 series, which can be found more easily worldwide.

Recently, the German retailer Mindfactory has announced its new stock of the RTX 50 series. While the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 is still missing from the inventory, the addition of the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti offers a ray of hope for eager gamers and creators alike.

At present, Mindfactory lists a limited supply of both the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti models. With minor price adjustments, these cards are more accessible than in previous weeks. However, it’s important to note that the price hike of $200 to $400 raises concerns about value for consumers.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 comes in about eight different configurations, featuring five models from MSI, one from ZOTAC, and two from Palit. Most options are overclocked (OC) versions, with prices starting at €1, 599 for the ZOTAC RTX 5080 Gaming AMP Extreme Infinity and MSI RTX 5080 Ventus 3X OC editions. When excluding the 20% VAT, this price translates to approximately $1, 399, marking about $400 above the MSRP for standard models.

On the higher end, prices for certain editions reach €1, 639 (including VAT) or about $1, 484 before VAT, nearing the cost of the elusive GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition. While this model is hard to come by, options are limited primarily to the RTX 5080 or the nearly-out-of-stock RTX 5090.

As for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, Mindfactory lists around five different versions currently available. Prices begin at €1, 029 for models such as the Palit RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Pro OC, roughly translating to $931 without VAT—substantially higher than the original MSRP of $749 for Founder’s Edition and base models. The MSI RTX 5070 Ti Inspire 3X Plus OC can reach up to €1, 129 (with VAT) or $1, 022 before VAT, equating its cost to that of the RTX 4080 Super.

Given the limited availability, these GPUs are expected to sell quickly, and it may take days or even weeks before new stock arrives to meet demand.
