Recently, Genshin Impact released a Developer’s Discussion for November across its official social media channels, highlighting anticipated features and enhancements in the upcoming version 5.2. A notable emphasis is placed on quality-of-life (QoL) improvements, particularly in inventory management, exploration mechanics, and updates to the Imaginarium Theater.

Key Features and Changes in Genshin Impact 5.2

Enhanced Treasure Compass and Exploration Improvements

The Treasure Compass is undergoing significant enhancements aimed at streamlining exploration:

• Expanded Chest Discovery: The Compass will now help players locate a wider variety of chests.
• Automatic Switching Between Regions: The addition of an “Enable Quick Swap”feature will enable seamless automatic transitions between regional versions of the Compass and Oculus Resonance Stones based on the player’s current location.

Notably, the upgraded Treasure Compass will now also be able to find Time-Trial Challenges and hidden Seelies that players may have overlooked.

Artifact Management Enhancements

Version 5.2 introduces significant optimizations for managing artifacts, improving organization and usability:

• Upgraded Artifact Auto-Lock Feature: Introducing a new “Lock Plan,”players can customize systems to automatically secure new artifacts that meet specific criteria.
• Introducing Artifact Astral Mark: This new feature allows players to highlight preferred artifacts with a star marking, giving them priority in displays.
