On October 15, Gene Deal, the former bodyguard of Sean “Diddy” Combs, revealed his concerns regarding the circumstances surrounding Kim Porter’s death during an appearance on Mighty Bolton’s The Art of Dialogue. Deal articulated his belief that Al B. Sure!, Porter’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her child, is pushing for a fresh investigation into her passing, particularly as Diddy currently contends with serious legal troubles related to s*x trafficking.
In light of Al B. Sure! enhancing his personal security while advocating for the case to be reopened, Gene Deal remarked that “he had every right to.”
“I truly believe Al is aware that Puff had some influential people around him, individuals capable of putting his life at risk,” Deal commented.
Gene Deal went on to express his frustration that Kim Porter’s death has not been thoroughly scrutinized. He emphasized the importance of her family finding closure, particularly regarding the absence of “foul play” in the matter.
“How could there be no electronic devices near Kim’s bedside? Her laptop and cellphone are missing… This case absolutely needs to be reopened… big props to the paperwork. It states, ‘Kim had a massage for an hour’ while she was supposed to be suffering from severe pneumonia. Who gives a person a massage when they have pneumonia?” Gene Deal continued.
Al B. Sure! questions Kim Porter’s death on Instagram after Diddy’s arrest
Following Diddy’s arrest in Brooklyn for alleged s*x trafficking, racketeering, and pr*stitution charges, Al B. Sure! made a statement on Instagram calling for an investigation into Kim Porter’s death to be reopened.
In his social media post, he stated:
“In summary, Kimberly was allegedly taken from us as she was poised to achieve what Mrs. Cassie Ventura did by igniting the Bon Fire, leading us to this situation today.”
Al B. Sure!, the father of Porter’s son Quincy Taylor Brown, urged officials to probe the publicists who were present near Diddy’s estate at the time of Porter’s demise.
Furthermore, he accused Diddy’s associates of tampering with excerpts from Kim Porter’s memoir, which was set to unveil controversial details about Diddy.
In additional Instagram remarks, Al B. alleged that Diddy had hidden Porter’s devices to suppress her memoir’s contents, emphasizing that these devices potentially contained incriminating information related to Diddy’s alleged attack on his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. He noted online:
“The missing devices belonging to Ms. Porter, reportedly already in evidence, surely hold vital evidence that has been concealed. I firmly believe this evidence aligns closely with the specifics detailed in the recently released public indictment regarding Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit against Diddy.”
Kim Porter passed away in Toluca Lake, California, back in 2018, with lobar pneumonia cited as the cause of death.
In a related interview with Vibe Magazine, Gene Deal shared his ominous premonition about a potential death the night The Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed. Serving as Diddy’s bodyguard at the time, he expressed:
“I had a strong feeling that night that someone was going to die, someone would be shot. I did everything possible to prevent it from being Puff, but it was not Puff.”
Recently, it was announced that Sean Combs’ trial is now scheduled for May 5, 2025. The rapper remains incarcerated after his legal team’s unsuccessful attempts to secure his bail, despite multiple efforts.
