The Stone Rose is an account item in Monster Hunter Rise that can be obtained from the Desert Rose in Sandy Flats. Players can see these outcrops by looking for the orange question marks on the map. They can mostly be found on large mounds or mountains, and players need to climb walls to get them. Here’s how to find stone roses in Monster Hunter Rise.
Where to find the desert rose in Monster Hunter Rise
Desert Roses will be marked with orange question marks in the Sand Plains. When interacting with them, players can receive a Sand Rose, Stone Rose, or Gaia. MHR desert roses can mostly be found on the tops of cliffs or cliffs accessible with Wirebug. Players can visit five Desert Rose locations, and each one will respawn in approximately five minutes.

Using Wirebug to Climb Walls
Players can climb walls by launching themselves with Wirebug, no matter how many Wirebug they have. This causes players to automatically climb the wall, spending stamina and running up. If the players lose their stamina, they do a back flip. If this happens and the player still has the Wirebug, they can start themselves up again to run up again using the stamina they recovered from the backflip.
Controls for launching yourself on the wall:
- Switch – ZL will enter aiming mode and ZR will use Wirebug to launch the player.
- PC – middle mouse button/click will go into aim mode and the fourth mouse button will use Wirebug to launch the player.
- Playstation 4/5 – Using a PS4/PS5 controller on Steam, L2 will go into aim mode and R2 will use Wirebug to launch the player.
- Xbox One/Series X/S – Using the Xbox controller on Steam, LT will go into aim mode and RT will use Wirebug to launch the player.
