“Garret Is The Target”: The Circle’s Kevin Strategizes His Next Move with Gianna

The beloved Netflix social media competition series The Circle made its triumphant return with episodes 9-12 on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. In episode 9, viewers witnessed the emotional farewell of cast member Darian, who was blocked after influencers Kevin and Gianna made the strategic decision to turn on him.

Despite Gianna’s initial resistance to backstab her ally, Darian, Kevin managed to persuade her by promising to take full responsibility for the elimination. He also pledged his loyalty to Gianna, assuring her he would strive for the ultimate victory alongside her. As the competition intensified, Gianna recognized the need to prioritize her own game, which ultimately led her to secretly align with Kevin, resulting in Darian’s removal from the competition.

In episode 10, titled A Circle Trilogy, Kevin and Gianna evaluated their options and deliberated on whom to target next. Kevin stated:

“I feel like Jadejha is the stronger player, and without her alliance with Garret, she’ll be weakened. #GarretIsTheTarget #JadejhaNext.”

Kevin aimed to set his sights on Garret, followed by Jadejha and Rachel. Interestingly, all three contestants on Kevin’s hit list were allies of Gianna. Nevertheless, the Scarlotta twins, who were catfishing as Gianna, agreed to participate in his strategy as it presented a chance for them to eliminate strong competitors as the finale approached.

Kevin and Gianna’s Strategic Alliance in Episode 10 of The Circle

Following Darian’s unexpected elimination, Kevin understood the importance of strengthening his alliances. He reached out to Gianna first to assess the status of their “secret power duo.”During a private chat, Kevin inquired about their next target.

Gianna, aiming to keep her options open, asked Kevin how he felt about Jadejha, Madelyn, and Rachel. However, Kevin redirected the conversation by asking Gianna who her biggest competition was. Considering her answer, Gianna emphasized the need to focus on individual gameplay as they approached the finale.

“As of right now, Rachel might be one of the biggest competitions in the game,”Gianna remarked.

Gianna recognized that eliminating Rachel would significantly improve her chances of clinching the $100,000 grand prize. Despite Rachel being one of her strongest allies, she realized it was time to cut competitors from her game. She also highlighted that Madelyn posed a significant threat to her strategy.

When Gianna probed Kevin about his major threats, he responded:

“Right now, Jadejha and Garret are my biggest threats. I know they’ll be at the top of many ratings and they seem close.”

Although Jadejha was an ally, Gianna agreed that her close bond with Garret could negatively impact her ratings. Consequently, Nicky and Jojo, playing as Gianna, informed Kevin that eliminating Garret would benefit them both: his removal would undermine Jadejha’s position, forcing her to seek a new alliance.

Kevin supported this strategy, aiming to take down Jadejha after Garret. However, Gianna contended that Madelyn was a more pressing threat than Jadejha. Kevin weighed in, suggesting that since Rachel was ranking higher than Madelyn, Rachel posed the greater challenge. Subsequently, he proposed a revised plan.

“I think the plan should be to rate Garret last and Jadejha and Rachel low. Then we move on to Jadejha and Rachel. Do we have a plan? #SecretStrategy,”Kevin explained.

Nicky and Jojo speculated that Kevin might have been collaborating with Madelyn, given his focus on their allies. Despite this, they aligned with his strategy while expressing their hope that he wouldn’t veer away from their collective objectives.
