As players navigate through the eerie corridors of The Tomb, they’ll encounter traps strategically placed along the walls, capable of harming zombies that get too close. Key areas such as the Subterranean Temple and Deep Excavation feature expansive open spaces where hordes of zombies can converge, posing significant threats especially when facing off against a new enemy type— the Shock Mimic. This formidable foe, equipped with razor-sharp claws, can inflict electrical damage and also use camouflage to confuse players.
Rest assured, the game retains nostalgic elements; the Staff of Ice Wonder Weapon from Black Ops 2 makes a welcomed return, offering players an opportunity to combat the dangers posed by the Shock Mimic effectively.

The main quest will prompt players to uncover the “Doorway to Nowhere, ”leading into the enigmatic Dark Aether Nexus. Although only brief glimpses of this immense area have been featured in the trailer, it appears filled with towering spires and mysterious overgrown flora. This Nexus likely marks the culmination of the quest. For those facing challenges, it may be advantageous to utilize Directed Mode in Black Ops 6, a feature designed to assist newcomers through critical objectives.
