Expansion of Xbox Game Pass Benefits for Free-to-Play Titles

In a significant move to enhance player engagement, Microsoft has been broadening the range of benefits for Xbox Game Pass members who enjoy free-to-play games, which started back in 2022. Initially, these perks were limited to titles developed by Riot Games, including popular games like League of Legends, Valorant, and Teamfight Tactics. As the service evolved, additional benefits were introduced for Genshin Impact and Overwatch 2. Now, this list is set for another substantial expansion.

New In-Game Benefits Announced

Today, Microsoft revealed that subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass will now receive in-game items and currencies for several additional titles. This includes highly regarded games such as Call of Duty: Warzone, Heroes of the Storm, and War Thunder.

As noted by Microsoft, accessing these in-game benefits is straightforward. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members need to either log in using their Xbox profile or link their Xbox account to each game’s platform. Once logged in, players can launch their chosen game on either console or PC, and the additional features will be readily available.

New Titles Benefiting from Game Pass

This week marks the arrival of in-game benefits for four new titles, detailed below:

  • Heroes of the Storm (PC) – Link your Battle.net account
    • Dive into the Nexus and unlock 30 diverse heroes from across Blizzard Entertainment’s popular franchises!
  • Naraka: Bladepoint (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Log in with your Xbox profile
    • Enjoy unlocking all heroes, exclusive Xbox-themed headgear, and the Phoenix Princess Pack featuring Justina Gu.
  • Smite 2 (Console and PC) – Link your account
    • Gather the exclusive High Velocity Hecate Skin, access to five different gods (including Ares and Hercules), plus the OP Title and GG Emote as part of the Smite 2 Welcome Pack.
  • The Finals (Xbox Series X|S and PC) – Link your Embark ID
    • Receive the Stryker Grid Set along with a complete outfit, three weapon skins, a charm, and a 25% boost to Match XP, alongside 500 Multibucks upon claiming your prize!

What Lies Ahead for Game Pass Subscribers

Looking ahead, April will see the additional rollout of benefits for titles such as Asphalt Legends Unite, Call of Duty: Warzone, Enlisted, and War Thunder.
