Launch of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad on Multiple Platforms

Netmarble has officially launched Game of Thrones: Kingsroad on various platforms including PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Launcher, alongside mobile devices on Android and iOS. Currently, this exciting action/adventure role-playing game, powered by Unreal Engine 5, is available worldwide, except for Asia, where it is scheduled to launch in 2025. Notably, the game supports cross-play functionality between PC and mobile platforms after linking accounts.

Exciting Updates and New Features

The launch brought a significant update that introduced the Stormlands, a territory under the reign of Stannis Baratheon. Players can explore this new region and engage with fresh story missions and diverse side quests, including:

  • Ferocious Beast
  • Bandit Camps
  • Echoes of the Past
  • Historic Sites
  • Occupied Sites
  • Gods Haven

Alongside this new content, the level cap has increased from 40 to 45. Players can now acquire four new artifacts—comprising one Legendary, one Epic, and two Uncommon items. Furthermore, new achievements have been integrated for challenges within the Stormlands, including battling the unicorn and Drogon. A new emote system has also been introduced, accessible by clicking the emote icon located in the lower right corner of the chat interface.

Daily Rewards and Future Prospects

To commemorate the game’s full release, Netmarble is offering daily rewards to players until June 5. Each day, players can receive a random gift that could include items such as:

  • 80 Golden Dragons
  • 1 Ruin Runner
  • 2, 000 Copper
  • 10 Iron Ore
  • 1 Artifact Expedition Requisition
  • 3 Silver Ore
  • 1 Enraging Draught Bundle

To receive these rewards, players simply need to visit the Web Shop daily.

Looking Ahead: Bringing Westeros to Life

Netmarble has expressed ambitions to include all remaining regions of Westeros in future updates. While the developer’s roadmap pivots on the game’s reception, successful engagement from players could lead to a more extensive expansion of the game world. However, if Game of Thrones: Kingsroad does not achieve sufficient popularity, there is a possibility that the project could be discontinued prematurely, limiting exploration of the iconic setting.
