GALAX Launches 16 GB VRAM Single-Slot GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU with Blower Fan Design

GALAX has officially introduced its latest single-slot GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU, featuring an impressive 16 GB of VRAM alongside an efficient blower-style cooling system.

Why GALAX’s Single-Slot GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPU Excels for SFF PCs and AI Workstations

Recognized for its innovative designs, GALAX stands out among graphics card manufacturers. Known for its flagship HOF series, GALAX is also lauded for producing exceptional solutions tailored for small form factor (SFF) systems. Their new single-slot GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPU builds upon this legacy, marking a return to the single-slot format that they previously explored with the RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB GPU.

Measuring a compact 20 mm in width, the GALAX GeForce RTX 5060 Ti employs a single-blower fan design that effectively circulates air through a sophisticated vapor chamber heatsink. This unique cooling approach is complemented by high-quality Honeywell Phase-Change thermal interface material (TIM), allowing it to handle the GPU’s 180W thermal design power (TDP) with ease.

Diving into its technical specifications, this GPU features an 8-layer printed circuit board (PCB) built on an 8+2 phase design. It is powered by a single 8-pin connector and offers a robust display configuration, equipped with three HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 2.1. The RTX 5060 Ti boasts 4608 CUDA cores, clock speeds reaching up to 2572 MHz, and memory operating at a blistering 28 Gbps over a 128-bit interface.

In terms of dimensions, the GPU measures 280x126x20mm, making it suitable for most compact SFF PC chassis. Its design and performance characteristics make it particularly appealing for AI workstations, where motherboards equipped with multiple PCIe slots—like the recently introduced model by Maxsun—can accommodate up to seven of these GPUs, resulting in a staggering 112 GB of VRAM.

Comparatively, the NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell offers a single-slot design with up to 24 GB of VRAM, but it utilizes a 16-pin connector and is significantly more expensive, ranging from $1500 to $2500. In contrast, the cost of the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPU is much more affordable, falling within the $430 to $450 range. This makes the 5060 Ti an appealing choice for AI builders on a budget who require high-performance graphics solutions.
