G Herbo, the acclaimed rapper, was recently sued by the law firm Prince Lobel Tye earlier this week on charges of breach of contract and unjust enrichment. The firm has reportedly assisted Herbo with multiple legal matters over the years, and the legal filings indicated that his payments to their firm are overdue.
Known for his successful albums like Humble Beast, G Herbo has made guest appearances on tracks by renowned artists such as Nicki Minaj. As per CelebrityNetWorth, his net worth is currently estimated at $3 million.
It is important to note that G Herbo was sentenced to probation for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and ceased payments to the law firm a few weeks before the verdict was announced. According to AllHipHop, the lawsuit reportedly claims he owes a total of $237,582.67 along with an interest of $26,542.85 to the law firm.
Furthermore, Prince Lobel has been seeking a monthly interest rate of 1.2% since G Herbo stopped making payments. The firm expressed that they took on the representation with the understanding that he would fulfill his financial obligations without fail.

Herbert Randall Wright III, widely recognized as G Herbo, has garnered a substantial fan following during his decade-long music career, collaborating with renowned labels like Republic and 808 Mafia. G Herbo’s latest album, Big Swerv, was released on September 6, 2024, with a private listening party hosted in Chicago by the sparkling rosé brand Luc Belaire shortly afterward. At the event, G Herbo expressed:
“I’m excited. It feels like there’s a weight off my shoulder. I’m just happy to get back to work because I feel like I went on a hiatus for like a year, sorting certain issues out and getting my life together.”
G Herbo also mentioned his desire to feel like a star through this album, highlighting his aspiration for the resources to do whatever he wishes. He reflected on the lengthy journey of hard work that has led him to his current status, stating he feels the “world is in the palms of my hands.”
The listening party featured notable figures from the hip-hop community, including Mello Buckz and Chance the Rapper. An open bar was offered to attendees, who also purchased G Herbo’s merchandise, which included T-shirts, sweatpants, shorts, and hats.
