From BTS’ Taehyung, Jungkook to Straykids: A Complete list of K- Pop winners list at 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards

The iHeartRadio Music Awards of 2024 took place in the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, United States on Monday, April 1, 2024. They were emceed by American rapper and actor Ludacris. Among the recipients of several prestigious awards were K-pop stars Jungkook and Kim Taehyung from BTS, as well as fourth-generation boy group Stray Kids.

Established in 2014, the ceremony celebrates the music that has been played on iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the year. It acknowledges the top artists and songs adored by fans over the previous year, and winners are chosen based on extensive performance data. The general public also has the opportunity to participate in voting for various categories.

Taylor Swift has been leading the pack at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, having received the most nominations and awards thus far. With a total of six wins and nine nominations, she has solidified her place as the top artist of the night.

At the iHeartRadio Music Awards, BTS’ Jungkook was honored with both the K-pop Artist of the Year and Best Music Video awards, solidifying his position as the most-awarded Asian soloist in the history of the event. Additionally, fellow BTS member Kim Taehyung made history by becoming the first artist to win the Favorite Debut Album category at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The K-pop Album of the Year was awarded to Stray Kids for their third Korean language studio album, 5-Star, making them the first fourth-generation group to receive this recognition. Additionally, NewJeans and FIFTY FIFTY, both rookie K-pop groups, were also recognized for their significant contributions to the music industry in the past year.
