The Flare Knife is classified as a reusable combat tool specifically designed for severing parts from Abductors. This functionality allows players who favor Polearms or Heavy Melee weapons to strategically sever limbs without relying solely on Light Melee weapons. To effectively use the Flare Knife, first lock onto the specific Abductor limb that can be severed. Utilize your Thorn to pull yourself toward the targeted area of the Abductor’s body. If the Flare Knife is equipped in your active slot, the option to sever the limb will appear. This action initiates a quick-time event (QTE) that requires rapid button pressing.
