The Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred DLC is slated for release on October 8, 2024, introducing a variety of exciting new content to the game. Players can look forward to a brand-new character class called Spiritborn, a fresh region known as Nahantu, and new story missions where players embark on a quest to find Neyrelle and uncover the reasons behind the imprisonment of the Prime Evil Mephisto.

As this marks the first DLC for the game, fans are eager to discover the various perks available at launch. Below, we detail the complimentary benefits that will be accessible to all players, irrespective of whether they purchase the Vessel of Hatred DLC.

New Features for the Diablo 4 Base Game with the Launch of Vessel of Hatred DLC

Upon the release of the Vessel of Hatred DLC, Blizzard will introduce the following updates to the base version of Diablo 4:

  • Increased Max Level: 60
  • Updated Difficulty System
  • New Paragon Max Level: 300
  • Changes to the Paragon System
  • Item Quality Revamp
  • Additional 2 Character Slots
  • New Class Skills and Passives for all Classes
  • Introducing a Party Finder Feature
  • Fresh Seasonal Content
  • New Season Rewards (including Season Journey, Battle Pass, and Reputation Board)

It is worth noting that characters currently at Level 51 and above will have their levels reset to 50 once the update is implemented. Players can also acquire three free items by simply visiting the in-game shop.

Free Twitch Drops and Discord Streaming Rewards for Diablo 4 with the Launch of Vessel of Hatred DLC

Players streaming the game on Discord from October 8 to October 15 will be rewarded with the Sea of Voices weapon bundle. To participate, players need to accept the quest in the Discord app under the Discover tab, and after streaming for 15 minutes, they’ll receive a code redeemable on Battle.net.

Players who complete the Dark Citadel between October 8 and November 8 will also unlock the Reins of the Longfur Beast cat mount. Additionally, there will be four weeks of Twitch Drops content that players can claim by watching eligible Twitch streamers.

This Twitch Drops timeline will run from October 8 to November 5, 2024, with rewards available as follows:

  • Week 1 (October 8-15): Ringmaster’s Word Two-Handed Staff Cosmetic (Sorcerer), Wrangler’s Hook Scythe Cosmetic (Necromancer), Guise of the Grand Vizier (Sorcerer), Guise of the Tombkeeper (Necromancer) Back Trophy.
  • Week 2 (October 15-22): Competitor’s Pride Two-Handed Axe Cosmetic (Barbarian), Guise of the Gladiator Back Trophy (Barbarian).
  • Week 3 (October 22-29): Executioner’s Reach Two-Handed Bow (Rogue), Guise of the Eaglecaller Back Trophy (Rogue).
  • Week 4 (October 29-November 5): Battlecaller’s Crook Two-Handed Staff Cosmetic (Druid), Guise of the Beastlord Back Trophy (Druid).

Additionally, gifting or purchasing two Twitch subscriptions to an eligible streamer will reward players with the Ghost of the Conquered mount, while four subscriptions will grant them the Glory of the Victor mount armor. For further details, visit Blizzard’s official blog.
