Fortnite Guide: Unlocking Kong and Mechagodzilla Characters

The introduction of Titans into the Fortnite Battle Royale realm has transformed the battlefield, injecting new levels of chaos into the previously tranquil landscape of Chapter 6 Season 1.

Kong and Mechagodzilla, iconic figures from the MonsterVerse—featured in “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire”(2024) and “Godzilla vs. Kong”(2021), respectively—have made their grand entry into Fortnite. These characters engage in combat alongside players, each rendered to scale in a manner that retains their formidable presence while allowing them to compete alongside other Loopers.

As the ruler of the Hollow Earth, Kong steps into battle as a perfect match for Godzilla. His outfit, inspired by “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire”(2024), includes a striking cybernetic arm brace that empowers his attacks. Although Kong costs 1,500 V-Bucks, players should note that his formidable Battle Axe, made from a shard of Godzilla’s hide, is available separately for 800 V-Bucks. Unfortunately, there is no LEGO variant of this classic character.

Designed specifically to counter Godzilla, Mechagodzilla is a high-tech sentinel created by Apex Cybernetics. His Fortnite appearance draws inspiration from “Godzilla vs. Kong”(2021), albeit in a more compact form. While he does not offer a LEGO variant, players can enjoy his unique Lil’ Godzilla Attack Emote, where his mechanical growling adds a playful touch. Players can add Mechagodzilla to their collection for 1,800 V-Bucks, allowing them to team up with Godzilla or face him in epic confrontations to establish dominance.

For those seeking value, the Mechagodzilla & Kong Bundle is available for 2,800 V-Bucks, including both character skins, two Wraps, two Back Blings, two Pickaxes, and an Emote. This bundle provides a significant savings, as purchasing each item separately would normally cost players 3,500 V-Bucks for all nine items.
