Former World Champion, newly formed faction & more – 8 WWE stars who need to be added to WrestleMania XL last minute

Former World Champion, newly formed faction & more – 8 WWE stars who need to be added to WrestleMania XL last minute

Despite the fact that WWE WrestleMania XL is a two-night event, the current roster of superstars is too large to accommodate all of them on the cards for both nights. With The Showcase of the Immortals set to take place in Philadelphia in just a few days, there is a possibility that the company may add a few more matches to the already-packed event.

WrestleMania XL is scheduled to take place this year on April 6 and 7, 2024 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, 11 matches have been announced for The Show of Shows, but it is uncertain which matches will take place on Night One or Two. The event will feature top stars such as The Rock, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, and more, although some of the top stars are still missing from the lineup.

To complete the WrestleMania XL card, we will consider eight stars that have the potential to be included at the last minute.

#5. The Fiend’s Reign of Terror on WWE Raw

Ever since Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits joined forces earlier this year to create The Pride, they have encountered Karrion Kross’ group, The Final Testament. The leaders and members of both factions have faced each other in multiple matches, but a potential showdown between the two factions at WrestleMania is a possibility.

During last week’s episode of SmackDown, The Final Testament intervened in The Street Profits’ match, preventing them from qualifying for the Six-Pack Ladder Match. With the help of Bobby, they were able to confront Karrion and propose a final showdown at The Grandest Stage of Them All to settle their feud once and for all.

#5. #4. #3. The Final Testament could prevent Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits from achieving their WrestleMania dreams

The Final Testament, which was established earlier this year, is still in its early stages and has yet to make a significant impact as a group. As previously mentioned, they have been engaged in a feud with The Pride on WWE SmackDown, and Karrion and the Authors of Pain will surely aim to demonstrate their ferocity and dominance.

A clash between two rival factions at The Grandest Stage of Them All could demonstrate to fans why they deserve to be the next dominant stable, should they emerge victorious against the previous titleholders.

#2. Liv Morgan has been on a “quest for redemption”since returning at the Royal Rumble

Despite her recent return after a long absence, fans were eager to see Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 40. Many hoped she would challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship, given their past rivalry. However, it seems she may have a different opponent for the event.

Morgan’s participation at ‘Mania, especially on short notice, may serve as a demonstration to fans and WWE that she is prepared for any obstacle, even on the grandest stage. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to highlight why she deserves to be next in line for the championship.

#1. Potential for Nia Jax to lead a women’s division revolution in WWE

Of the 11 matches, 3 belong to the women’s division. Two are for world titles and the remaining is a tag team match. It appears that WWE may have space for one additional match featuring female stars.

According to reports, the Stamford-based promotion has a surprise slot planned for the event. While the details are still unknown, there is speculation that Nia Jax may issue an open challenge, giving other women on the roster the opportunity to perform at the event and potentially set up new storylines for the future.
