Former WCW World Champion shows off new look [Photo]

A previous WCW World Heavyweight Champion recently utilized social media to post a photo of his updated appearance to his followers.

The individual in question is Vince Russo, a previous writer renowned for being the driving force behind provocative storylines during WWE’s Attitude Era, TNA, and World Championship Wrestling.

The 63-year-old veteran also briefly appeared as a character on-screen and achieved the WCW World Champion title during his time there. He currently uses his YouTube channel, “Vince Russo’s The Brand,”to share his opinions, critiques, and conduct interviews about the wrestling industry.

The ex-World Champion unveiled his new summer look on X (formerly known as Twitter) following WWE SmackDown. Vince Russo showed off his impressive new haircut and clean-shaven appearance.

“I decided it’s officially summer,”he wrote.

Fans Reportedly Missed The Rock’s Last Appearance on WWE RAW, According to Vince Russo

According to the 63-year-old veteran, fans may have overlooked The Rock’s final segment with Cody Rhodes on Monday Night RAW due to poor booking.

Despite Rhodes’ moment with the WWE Universe, Dwayne Johnson’s unexpected appearance on the red brand interrupted it. The Final Boss whispered something to The American Nightmare, bringing an end to the segment. Following the main event, The Rock went on a rampage and brutally attacked The American Nightmare, leaving the 38-year-old star bloodied in the parking lot at the hands of The Bloodline member.

On Sporrtskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, the former WCW World Champion expressed his belief that WWE missed an opportunity by not showcasing backstage footage of The Rock following the opening segment.

According to Vince Russo, a significant portion of the audience assumed that The Great One had finished his appearance after his talk with Cody, causing them to overlook the final moments of Monday Night RAW.

“Bro, all you need is one or two shots in the back of The Rock hanging around. Then the announcers have to say, ‘What is The Rock hanging around for?’ That’s what writers do. I guarantee you the end part with Rock getting the heat on Cody, and again, if you ask me, that should’ve been Roman getting the heat on Cody. But okay. That was the best part of the entire show, and how many people missed it because they thought Rock is gone,”Russo said.
