Shuhei Yoshida, the recently retired executive from PlayStation, has stated that the indie game Blue Prince may become a contender for Game of the Year in 2025. Developed by the US-based studio Dogubomb, this intriguing adventure game is set to launch on April 10, 2025, and will be available on platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Yoshida’s retirement from PlayStation in January 2025 marked the end of a remarkable 31-year journey with the company.
