His responsibilities included overseeing data centers, developing server technologies, managing networking systems, and deploying subsea cables, among other critical tasks. He was also a key contributor to significant industry ventures like the Open Compute Project and the Telecom Infra Project. Before his tenure at Meta, Parikh worked with Ning and Akamai Technologies, and he holds over 20 US patents, reflecting his innovative contributions. Additionally, he has been a board member of Atlassian since 2013.

His interest goes beyond just technology; he emphasizes the importance of nurturing talent, cultivating a vibrant company culture, and delivering swift value to customers while promoting business development. In fact, there are very few leaders in our sector with Jay’s exceptional experience in directing teams through the rapid growth required to support today’s largest digital enterprises.

As he transitions into his new role, Jay will focus on understanding our organizational priorities and culture, spending time interfacing with senior leaders, and meeting our global customers, partners, and employees. We will provide additional details about his role and focus in the upcoming months.
