Former Divas Champion eyes a return to WWE for one major reason

The desire to return to the squared circle has been expressed by a former WWE Divas Champion. She clarified that the sole reason for her consideration of a comeback is due to her passion for the sport.

Kelly Kelly (also known as Barbie Blank) is the subject of discussion. She joined the Stamford-based promotion in 2006 at the young age of 19 and remained there for six years. During her time, she achieved success by winning both the Divas Championship and the 24/7 Title. In 2012, she departed from World Wrestling Entertainment to pursue opportunities in the modeling and reality TV industry.

During her interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Kelly Kelly expressed her desire to come back to WWE, explaining that it would mean a lot to her to have her children witness her in-ring performances. In September 2023, she welcomed a baby girl named Brooklyn Marie and a baby boy named Jaxon Matthew, becoming a mother for the second time.

After witnessing Michelle McCool’s daughter’s response when she entered the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Kelly Kelly was motivated to create a similar experience for her own twins. Reflecting on her time as a Divas Champion, she stated:

“I really want my twins to see me wrestle. I think it would be so amazing when they’re like four or five. And I don’t even know if they would still, they probably would get it then. But like seeing that’s my mom and they’re sitting in the front row. And I just remember watching Michelle McCool when she came and did into the Rumble and her daughter was sitting there and her daughter’s face was priceless. I want and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, because that’s what I want.’”(H/T: CVV)

Kelly Kelly shares insights on her experience working with Vince McMahon in WWE

Despite facing serious allegations of sex trafficking from former WWE employee Janel Grant, Vince McMahon continues to be a prominent figure in the wrestling industry. As a result, numerous superstars, veterans, and critics have spoken out and shared their opinions on the situation.

During their conversation, Kelly Kelly also mentioned working under the guidance of the 78-year-old. The former Divas Champion noted that Mr. McMahon was always very professional when they interacted backstage.

“I always looked at him like he was my boss. I went to him only once, and that was when I wanted to become Divas Champion. I only saw him during rehearsal. This is rehearsals and he was like on it. Like, ‘Here we go! Okay! Rehearse, done on the next one!’ Just so professional, like, just an amazing boss, literally! I have nothing but amazing things [to say]!”

Unfortunately, spectators were not able to see the former Divas Champion in action during this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble Match. It remains to be seen if Kelly will make a return to the WWE ring in the future.
