Steps to Complete Merlin’s Quest in Fisch
To embark on Merlin’s Quest, head to Sunstone Island, situated in the North-East region of Moosewood, just beyond Haddock Rock at the following coordinates: -943, 224, -988. Utilize your Fisch GPS feature to navigate these coordinates and arrive at the precise location.
Upon your arrival at Sunstone Island, you will notice that Merlin’s shop has sustained some damage. Engage in dialogue with him to initiate the quest. Merlin accidentally shattered his Magic Orb and now requires your assistance in procuring Magic Shards.
Your task involves locating the shards and restoring the Magic Orb—critical to completing the quest. However, discovering the shards presents a bit of a challenge.
Locating Shards in Fisch
Shards can be found within the Sunstone Rifts that are scattered throughout Sunstone Island. Keep an eye on your surroundings, as these rifts can spawn in elevated locations as well as along the sandy areas at the island’s base.
Upon identifying a Rift, step into it. Be prepared for a brief parkour challenge where you’ll need to navigate your way to the top of the rocks to collect the Shard. Be careful, as falling into the water results in instant failure and expulsion from the Rift.
A useful tip is to navigate to the right side of the Rift and scale the central pillar using the tiered structure. Once you spot a Shard, leap and glide towards it to collect your prize. Be aware that once you exit a Rift in Fisch, it is not possible to re-enter.
Delivering Shards to Merlin
With the Shards in hand, return to Merlin to claim your well-earned rewards. Initiate a conversation with him, selecting the “I have a Shard for you” option to hand over the Shard and receive a reward in return. Each Shard you present will earn you a reward.
