Potential Insider Revelations about Leon in Resident Evil Requiem
Recent reports suggest that new footage showcasing the Leon campaign from Resident Evil Requiem may have surfaced, as hinted by a well-known industry insider.
Dusk Golem, an insider with a somewhat inconsistent reputation, has previously shared accurate details about CAPCOM’s acclaimed Resident Evil franchise. According to Dusk Golem, Leon S. Kennedy makes subtle appearances in the game’s initial trailer, which might only become apparent upon closer inspection over time.
Leon is in the first trailer, in two small ways, but they’re minor and be more obvious when looking back. While this is subjective, I believe with how the game is structured that more of the game will be played as Leon by most players from how I understand it.

Game Structure Implications
Aside from its trailer insights, Dusk Golem elaborated on what appears to be the foundational structure of the game. He suggested that the majority of players are expected to experience the game predominantly through Leon’s perspective, indicating a single expansive campaign that intertwines the narratives of both Leon and Grace, rather than offering separate storylines for the two characters.
Footage Analysis and Speculations
Despite the lack of official confirmation about Leon’s role in Resident Evil Requiem, some recent examinations, including those by user @RE_Persian, unveil sequences potentially linked to Leon’s storyline. The analysis reveals that certain cutscenes seem to adopt a first-person viewpoint distinct from Grace’s perspective, as evidenced by visual clues such as her hair visibility on the periphery of the screen – a detail inconsistent with her own point of view.
