Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has received its first patch since launching on PC, addressing various stability concerns that emerged shortly after its release. Although this PC version lacks additional content, it boasts upgraded graphics and enhanced frame rates for capable systems, enabling newcomers to experience the breathtaking world of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth like never before.

So far, the game has made a remarkable impact on PC, achieving approximately three times the number of concurrent players during its launch weekend in comparison to Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s initial PC release in 2021. However, despite its visual allure, many players have reported various performance issues, including unexpected crashes, fluctuating frame rates, and subpar texture rendering during expansive open-world segments.

The first official patch, designated as Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Version 1.001, was announced on the game’s official Steam page.
