Italian game developer Kunos Simulazioni has unveiled the first early access content update for Assetto Corsa EVO, now available as patch version 0.1.6. This update introduces two iconic cars and a new track, greatly enhancing the gaming experience.

  • Lancia Delta HF Integrale “Evoluzione 2”: Experience this legendary vehicle in its striking ‘Giallo Ginestra’ color, perfect for performing stunning drifts, showcasing a blend of turbocharged power and all-wheel drive technology.
  • Lamborghini Huracán STO: A breathtaking piece of engineering, the Huracán STO draws inspiration from GT racing, aiming to provide unmatched speed and precision on the road.
  • Fuji Speedway: For the first time in the series, players can race on Fuji Speedway. This technical circuit not only poses challenges with its corners but also rewards players with stunning views of Mount Fuji, making every race an adrenaline-filled experience.

Assetto Corsa EVO: A Game in Progress

Released in early access on January 16, Assetto Corsa EVO’s current user reviews reflect a mixed reception, holding a 72% rating on Steam. Despite not achieving explosive success, Kunos Simulazioni has ambitious plans for the future, aiming for a full version 1.0 rollout before the end of 2025.

The upcoming early access update promises to deliver five additional cars, the Circuit of the Americas, a custom race weekend mode, new special events, enhanced replay tools, and further improvements to virtual reality and triple surround support. Notably, an open-world map is also anticipated to be incorporated into the game this summer.
