Steps to Unlock Birdwatching

Head to meet Bailey J., located upstairs in the town center’s pet store.
Bailey J.will guide you through Birdwatching and provide your first scanner.
You’ll need to converse with other Hobby Mentors for additional insights.
After meeting all three mentors, return to Bailey J.with your Hobby Expansion Ticket.
Select Birdwatching to permanently unlock it as your chosen hobby.

If you opt for a different hobby, you’ll have to wait until another Expansion Ticket is earned, making it prudent to choose Birdwatching early on in your experience.
