Your journey to gather all 900 Korok Seeds begins with a visit to Hestu, found along the road just outside Kakariko Village in West Necluda. He is positioned along the route leading up the mountain, adjacent to the river south of the village.
Hestu, who resembles an oversized vegetable, will first ask Link to retrieve his maracas, which have been pilfered by nearby enemies. Located just north of him is a Bokoblin camp where the maracas can be found. Defeat the Bokoblins, reclaim the instruments, and return them to Hestu to officially commence the quest for the Korok Seeds.

Rewards for Collecting All Korok Seeds
As a reward for gathering Korok Seeds, Hestu offers Link substantial inventory upgrades, allowing for an increase in the capacity of weapons, bows, and shields. Each category has its own upgrade path, which lets players enhance their inventory for weapons, bows, and shields independently, with the initial upgrades costing a mere three Korok Seeds total.
However, subsequent upgrades require a greater number of Korok Seeds, following this structure:
- 1st Upgrade – 1 Korok Seed
- 2nd Upgrade – 2 Korok Seeds
- 3rd Upgrade – 3 Korok Seeds
- 4th Upgrade – 5 Korok Seeds
