The Pose of the Unbound emote was introduced in the recent Patch 7.16 update, accompanying a final questline in the Dawntrail series of Role Quests. To unlock this emote, players must first complete the main scenario of the ‘Dawntrail’ Questline, along with five specific Role Questlines:
- Dreams of a New Day – Tank Role Quest (Requires a Tank job at Level 90 or above)
- An Antidote For Anarchy – Healer Role Quest (Requires a Healer job at Level 90 or above)
- A Hunter True – Melee DPS Role Quest (Requires a Melee DPS job at Level 90 or above)
- The Mightiest Shield – Ranged Physical DPS Quest (Requires a Physical Ranged DPS job at Level 90 or above)
- Heroes and Pretenders – Magical Ranged DPS Quest (Requires a Magical Ranged DPS job at Level 90 or above)
You can find all these questlines at Xbalyav Ty’e, located at (X:12.4, Y:14.7) in Tuliyollal, which is the restaurant where you previously interacted with Wuk Lamat during the Dawntrail MSQ. Be sure that you have the appropriate job role equipped to initiate these quests.
Upon completing these quests, the ‘Picking Up the Torch’ Level 100 quest will become available through Rral Majun, who is also at the same venue in Tuliyollal (X:12.3, Y:14.6), near the bar counter. After a dialogue with her and the NPC Br’uk Evu, your Warrior of Light will discover that Apyaahi, the leader of the Passage of the Unbound, is seeking new candidates for her clan.
Your mission will be to investigate Apyaahi’s true motives by posing as a potential member of her organization. The conclusion of this storyline unveils the ‘Imposing Views’ Level 100 quest, upon completion of which you’ll receive the Pose of the Unbound emote as a reward.
Once you’ve unlocked this emote, it will appear under the ‘General’ tab in your emotes menu, allowing your character to showcase a wonderfully exaggerated pose.
