In 2021, Square Enix, in collaboration with Victoria Rosenthal, unveiled The Ultimate Final Fantasy XIV Cookbook: The Essential Culinarian Guide to Hydaelyn. This popular guide is currently available for $29.99 through platforms such as Amazon. Anticipation is building for the release of its sequel, set to hit the shelves in October 2025.
Volume 2 Overview
The upcoming cookbook will be titled The Ultimate Final Fantasy XIV Cookbook Volume 2: The Culinarian’s Journey from Shadow to Shore. This title reflects the diverse regions explored within this installment. While the first volume primarily featured recipes from the base game as well as the expansions Heavensward and Stormblood, the new volume will introduce culinary delights inspired by Shadowbringers, Endwalker, and the upcoming Dawntrail.

Food enthusiasts can look forward to a total of 70 delectable recipes, accompanied by detailed step-by-step instructions and vibrant photographs. This ensures that home cooks will know exactly how each dish is intended to look.
So far, three confirmed recipes have emerged from the upcoming volume:
- Alpine Breakfast: Originally introduced in Heavensward, expect to see ingredients such as bread, eggs, cheese, chicken, spinach, and tomatoes in this hearty dish.
- Tacos de Carne Asada: An offering from Dawntrail, this recipe will feature ingredients like flour, meat, garlic, onion, paprika, and pepper.
- Pudding of Perseverance & Prominence: While details about this dish are still somewhat elusive, it’s sure to intrigue original fans of the game.
