The highly anticipated Love is Blind season 7 debuted on Netflix on October 2, 2024, presenting a fresh group of American singles eager to discover emotional connections beyond mere physical attributes.
While earlier seasons showcased participants from cities like Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, and Charlotte, this season takes a turn by featuring contestants from Washington, D.C., with most scenes from episodes 7 through 12 shot across the vibrant nation’s capital.
The first episodes set in the pods were recorded at LA North Studios in Santa Clarita, California. Following the pod interactions, the honeymoon segments were filmed in the beautiful surroundings of San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, as highlighted by The Washington Post.
Filming Locations of Love is Blind Season 7
Pods and Honeymoon (Episodes 1-6)
Even though the singles from season 7 of Love is Blind originated in Washington, D.C., the pod and lounge scenes were filmed at LA North Studios in Santa Clarita, California.
To maintain the element of surprise, male and female contestants were kept in separate lounge areas, ensuring they never crossed paths until engagements were made. The male pods were lined up in a row directly across from the female pods, allowing contestants to converse and exchange gifts without ever laying eyes on one another.
Over a span of 10 days filled with meaningful conversations, these singles decided to pop the question. They then moved to a shared area where the newly engaged couples could finally meet face-to-face for the first time.
After the engagements, the couples traveled to their honeymoon destination to deepen their understanding of each other. For season 7, the romantic escape took place at the luxurious Viceroy Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.
The resort’s website eloquently describes its charm:
“The architecturally stunning concept by Miguel Angel Aragonés invites you with breathtaking views and impressive design at every turn. Recharge your spirit and awaken your senses through various immersive experiences throughout our Los Cabos resort.”
Living Arrangements and Wedding Venues (Episodes 7-12)
After their enchanting time in Mexico, the engaged pairs from Love is Blind season 7 relocated to share living quarters in Washington, D.C. They were housed in a facility known as the Rixey/Placemakr Marymount Ballston, situated on North Glebe Road in Ballston.
Although this building is officially outside of the D.C. city limits, it can be found in Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood, offering various accommodations such as apartments for students, short-term rentals, and hotel options. The property’s website promises:
“Located amidst the vibrant life Arlington offers, Placemakr Ballston Marymount boasts modern studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments infused with luxury and numerous community amenities. It’s not just a place to stay but a true home away from home.”
As the season concluded, two wedding ceremonies took place. Ashley and Tyler were the first couple to tie the knot, celebrating their union at Stone Tower Winery, found at 19925 Hogback Mountain Rd., Leesburg.
Meanwhile, Taylor and Garrett exchanged vows at Great Marsh Estate, 6105 Great Marsh Pl., Bealeton, Virginia. They chose the estate’s grand lawn for their marriage ceremony, a splendid Georgian-style venue nestled in Fauquier County.
According to The Washington Post, Jessica Brose, the owner of Serendipity Catering, confirmed the estate’s feature on the show before the wedding aired in the season finale on October 23.
