FFVII Rebirth: Cloud’s Wild Surf Swimsuit Inspired by Zack

Square Enix has once again engaged its audience through social media, offering an intriguing glimpse into the character designs of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This time, the spotlight shines on Cloud Strife’s Wild Surf swimsuit, which interestingly draws inspiration from Zack Fair’s swimwear featured in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. The post included detailed looks at the concept art for the swimsuit, highlighting both front and back views, with a particular focus on the striking metal patch positioned at the back.

Swimwear Options in Costa del Sol

In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, players will find that Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa have the option to adorn one of two different swimsuits while they relax in the sun-kissed locale of Costa del Sol. The selection is determined by which Companion Card is obtained in the beach resort town. One option, the Ocean Chocobo outfit, features knee-length shorts paired with casual gum shoes and a vibrant blue shirt emblazoned with Chocobos over a black top. In contrast, the Wild Surf swimsuit consists of sleek black trunks and matching flip-flops.

For a comparative look, Zack Fair also sported swim trunks that reached his knees during his vacation escapades in Crisis Core FFVII, complemented by flip-flops. This iconic moment also featured him wielding a beach umbrella as an impromptu weapon amidst a surprise attack, showcasing the blend of humor and action synonymous with the franchise.
