“Feels like the world doesn’t hear you” – Ryan Garcia extends sympathy for student getting bullied, offers to fly him out for next fight

Ryan Garcia recently offered to fly out a student who was bullied to his next fight, showing sympathy towards the student’s experience.

A video was recently posted on X showing the bully verbally abusing a student in front of his friends. This did not sit well with Garcia, who shared the video with the following caption:

”I wouldn’t have been able to withhold my self from at least slapping that bully. If I turn my knuckles over it could be a real issue. I used to get bullied not a fun feeling in middle school. Feels like the world doesn’t hear you. Get me in contact with the kid getting bullied and I’ll fly him to my fight.”

Despite facing a r*pe accusation, a divorce on the day of his child’s birth, and claiming to have visited Bohemian Grove, ‘KingRy’ has been consistently making headlines in the past few months.

Despite having a record of 3-3 in six past amateur fights, Garcia has never faced Devin Haney in a professional setting. However, this is set to change on April 20, as Garcia is preparing to challenge Haney for the WBC super lightweight title.

Despite not having fought in the weight division yet, Garcia emerged victorious against Oscar Duarte in December 2023, the same month in which Haney, the former undisputed lightweight champion, secured the title in his divisional debut by defeating Regis Prograis via unanimous decision.

Despite being well-liked on social media, Garcia (24-1) has yet to claim an undisputed title. Meanwhile, Haney (31-0) is heavily favored to win the upcoming fight.

Devin Haney’s father calls Ryan Garcia “King Distraction”

Leading up to his championship match against Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia’s conduct has caused apprehension among both fighters and fans. One of those who has expressed backing for the skilled boxer is Canelo Alvarez.

Despite Bill Haney, the father of ‘The Dream’, claiming that Garcia is trying to cause a distraction in the champion’s camp, Garcia continues with his efforts.

”Ryan’s whole game is to be a distraction. He’s ‘King Distraction’ right now, instead of ‘KingRy’, and he thinks that that is either going to bring attention, or relax us… You don’t get to be a 12 or 15-time amateur champion by accident. You don’t actually beat Devin Haney three times in the amateur on accident. He’s a real fighter, he’s gonna come to fight.”
