The designations suggest that the white variant represents the standard Asus ROG Ally 2, while the black model features an Xbox button, hinting at its Xbox branding.

Further insights from Huang514613’s discoveries exposed some intriguing specifications displayed on the back labels of the devices. The RC73YA model is expected to feature:
- A 4-core AMD AERITH Plus CPU
- 16GB of RAM
- A thermal design power (TDP) rating of up to 20 watts
In contrast, the RC73XA is rumored to deliver superior performance with:
- An 8-core Ryzen Z2 Extreme CPU
- 32GB of RAM
- A TDP rating of up to 35 watts
