Type-Moon has officially announced a release window for the much-anticipated Fate/hollow ataraxia Remastered. This remaster is set to launch on both Nintendo Switch and the PC gaming platform Steam in the year 2025.

Announcement Details

The development of the remaster was unveiled back in August 2024, with confirmation that it would be available on Steam and Switch, offering English language support globally. Prior to this recent update, the specific release window had not been disclosed.

Revealing the Release Window

The release window was initially revealed through pamphlets that were sold during the Fate/stay night 20th Anniversary Concert Finale. Conducted at the Tokyo International Forum on May 18, 2025, this concert marked the culmination of celebrations commemorating two decades of the iconic visual novel series, which includes Fate/hollow ataraxia as an expansion fan disc.

The Legacy of Fate/hollow ataraxia

The original Fate/hollow ataraxia launched for Windows PC via DVD-ROM back in late 2005. Subsequently, in late 2014, Type-Moon collaborated with Kadokawa Games and HuneX to adapt the visual novel for the PlayStation Vita, enhancing it with full voiceovers.
