As you navigate the world of Fantasian Neo Dimension, you’ll encounter a unique set of challenges, namely the recurring boss battle against the Cinderella Tri-Stars. This trio bears a resemblance to Team Rocket from Pokémon, adding a comical twist to your encounters.
While these bosses are not particularly difficult to defeat, their locations can be elusive. In total, there are eight Cinderella Tri-Star appearances, with two occurring automatically during your main storyline. The remaining six require players to venture off the beaten path to discover.
Finding the Cinderella Tri-Stars is worthwhile, with each defeat granting you a Cinderella Badge. Once you collect a total of seven badges and present them at an Altar in Shangr-La, you unlock an additional boss fight that yields substantial rewards and permits entry into New Game Plus.
Cinderella Badge I – One
Your first encounter with the Cinderella Tri-Stars takes place when Leo and Kina visit En-New District for the very first time. During the main quest, you’ll be tasked with heading toward the town’s tower—upon nearing the tower, the Tri-Stars will make their dramatic entrance.
Cinderella Badge II – Midi Toy Box
The second encounter occurs naturally as you advance in the main storyline. When Leo and his companions reach the Midi Toy Box for the first time, the Cinderella Tri-Stars will pop up, initiating another boss battle.
Cinderella Badge III – Main Street, Royal Capital
Next, you must seek out the remaining Tri-Star locations, marked by a distinctive red ‘X’ symbol. To uncover the third badge, warp to the Royal Capital in Vibra and navigate to Main Street. Immediately upon arrival, look for the Cinderella Tri-Star symbol on a nearby wall to commence the boss encounter.
Cinderella Badge IV – Frozen Tundra
The fourth symbol awaits you in the Frozen Tundra – Center area. Warp to Lake Center – Entrance and head northeast until you reach the second map of the region with a save point. From there, journey north to discover the Cinderella Tri-Star symbol resting on the mountainside.
Cinderella Badge V – Hidden Valley
Your fifth encounter is located within the Hidden Valley, specifically in the initial area called Duet Path. Travel to the entrance and traverse the winding paths to the northwest until you spot the red symbol perched on a grassy cliff.
Cinderella Badge VI – Ancient Hill
Reaching the sixth Cinderella Tri-Star will require some effort, as several side quests must be completed beforehand. Here’s what you need to tackle:
- Ultimate Rice Omelet (Purchase from the Bartender in En)
- Treasure Mountain (Ez at Valrika’s Laboratory)
- Golem’s Revival (Ez’s father in Outskirts)
During the Golem’s Revival quest, Ez will reactivate a giant robot in Ancient Hill, leading to another boss fight. After defeating this mechanical foe, you can cross it to reach the river’s opposite side, where you’ll find the Cinderella Tri-Star symbol on a nearby rock.
Cinderella Badge VII – Nameless Island
The seventh symbol is positioned on Nameless Island. To access it quickly, warp to the Grave warp point and immediately proceed east. The symbol can be found on a rock on the right side of your path.
Final Cinderella Tri-Star Location – Shangri-La
The final Cinderella Tri-Star is located in Shangri-La, the Fallen City, which sits in the northeast region of the world map. This area becomes available only after you complete Zinikr’s quest “Echoes in the Sandseas.”
Following the completion of this quest, Zinikr will obliterate the Mecteria blocking the eastern passage adjacent to the Wormhole where Chelsie and Kina are rescued.
Upon reaching Shangri-La, continue along the main path until you encounter an Altar featuring the Cinderella Tri-Star symbol. Interact with it and present the seven badges collected from the previous battles to trigger a climactic boss fight.
Ensure all characters are fully healed and at maximum MP, as this boss encounter will present a tougher challenge than any you’ve faced thus far.
Cinderella Tri-Star Rewards
Upon defeating the Cinderella Tri-Stars, three treasure chests will appear nearby. Inside, you’ll find two Ultimate Guards and a Holy Belt. The Ultimate Guards significantly bolster base defense, while the Holy Belt confers immunity to all status ailments, making these items invaluable for late-game challenges.
Additionally, the Altar allows you to initiate New Game Plus, although first, you’ll need to obtain the Tachyon Medal from the Sanctum – Laboratory located in the God Realm. This is among the final levels in the game, so patience will be key before you reach this milestone.
