On October 7, 2024, j-hope of BTS made an engaging post on Weverse, a popular South Korean social media outlet, sharing an image of his military backpack and labeling it with “D-10.”This update has sparked a wave of excitement among fans regarding his impending military discharge. Jin, another member of BTS, humorously commented on the post, teasing j-hope with,
“Wow, have you seen such a friend as cheeky as this.”
J-hope playfully responded, asking if he would be meeting a “cheeky” friend on the day of his release.
For those unaware, j-hope is set to conclude his mandatory eighteen-month military service on October 17, 2024. Their interaction on Weverse quickly gained traction on social media, leading fans to eagerly discuss the virtual exchange. One user on X expressed their enthusiasm, writing:

Members of the BTS ARMY couldn’t hide their thrill as they anticipated the reunion of Jin and j-hope.

j-hope, a talented South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer, made his debut as a part of BTS in 2023 under Big Hit Entertainment.
