“We already know who”

Many other users expressed similar thoughts on X.

“If it’s Drake you need to pause that DJ’ing,”another netizen wrote.

“We acknowledge the frustration, but expressing it on here like this, given the current circumstances, may not be the most effective approach.”

“Why do this in public?”asked another user.

DJ Gordo and Drake Previously Collaborated on the Album ‘Diamante’

In light of Gordo’s recent tweet and its speculative connection to Drake, it’s important to note that the two artists have a history of collaboration. They previously worked together on the album ‘Diamante,’ which was officially released in July 2024.

Drake appeared on two tracks from this album: “Healing”and “Sideways.”Alongside Gordo and Drake, other artists featured on the album include Nicki Nicole, Maluma, T-Pain, and Afshin Momadi, contributing to the collection of 16 songs. Although both Gordo and Drizzy released the songs, they did not appear in the respective music videos.

Gordo previously stated that for “Healing,”he wanted to spotlight The Don Madfunz, whom he discovered while browsing TikTok. He described in the video’s caption:

“About 2 months ago while I was scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled upon THE DON Madfunz, a guy from South Africa with amazing energy. His taste in music grabbed my attention, but it was his dancing, smile and story that really hooked me.”

Gordo informed music director Theo Skudra that the music video should portray a day in Don’s life.

Both “Sideways”and “Healing”garnered significant attention, particularly for their poignant lyrics. For instance, in “Sideways,”Drake opens up about the heartache of unreciprocated love from a former partner.

Prior to this album, Gordo had an extensive collaborative history with Drake. He was reportedly the producer for several tracks on Drake’s 2022 studio album ‘Honestly, Nevermind,’ including the popular songs “Sticky”and “Massive.”
