These updates came just days after his military discharge on October 17 and quickly captivated the attention of ARMY fans. In his stories, j-hope utilized fun filters featuring iconic characters, Doraemon and Shinchan.
Fans were thrilled to see j-hope’s return on Instagram and welcomed him back with open arms, but they also couldn’t help but notice the intriguing backdrop of his clips. There was rampant speculation among netizens that he was seated in RM’s studio, which ignited excitement within the fandom.
This led many to ponder whether the two BTS members might be collaborating on a new project. Social media platforms were soon buzzing with theories regarding a possible collaboration between Namjoon and Hobi. One user on X expressed excitement with the question:
“Caro it’s a NAMHOPE date ARE WE GETTING A COLLAB OMG”
The buzz surrounding a potential j-hope and RM collaboration led to a variety of responses online.
“Street are saying that Hobi visited Namjoon’s studio?!?! Omg, I’m crying,” a fan commented.

BTS’ j-hope completed his military service on October 17
On October 17, around 10 AM KST, j-hope from BTS completed his military duty at the 36th Infantry Division’s training unit located in Wonju, Gangwon-do province. The moment was even more special when Jin, the eldest member of BTS, made a surprise appearance to greet him with a bouquet as he returned. Dressed in a stylish burgundy Gucci outfit, Jin arrived to exuberant cheers.
Outside of the military facility, journalists and fans gathered to witness j-hope’s momentous return. As he exited, Jin waved and bowed to everyone gathered, stepping out of one of the cars and heightening the excitement among fans. He expressed his joy at reuniting with Kim Seokjin, known as Jin, who had completed his military service in June.
As of now, the rest of the BTS members, including RM, SUGA, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook, are currently fulfilling their military obligations.
On the day of his discharge, j-hope logged onto Weverse for a live session, wearing his military uniform to reconnect with fans after an extended period. During this live interaction, he spoke about the unique feelings he experienced as his military service came to a close.
The MORE vocalist mentioned that he committed 18 months to serving in the military as Jung Hoseok, and now it’s time for him to embrace his identity as K-pop star j-hope once more.
