On September 21, 2024, the renowned rock band graced the stage at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, Martin had a delightful surprise lined up for later that night.

Following the festival, Chris Martin donned an inconspicuous, ill-fitting business suit and made his way to the famous Dino’s Lounge in Las Vegas, holding a red balloon. Chris Martin’s Disguise at Dino’s Lounge

After Chris Martin’s performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, he visited the local dive bar Dino’s Lounge late that night. Martin wore an oversized, ill-fitting tan suit over a half-tucked shirt, coordinated pants, a rather short tie, a blonde wig, and glasses, all while carrying a lone red balloon.

According to a statement by the club owner Kristen Bartolo, shared with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Martin and a small film crew arrived at the venue around 10:45 PM after being contacted by downtown officials and representatives from Live Nation.

Upon his arrival, the singer quietly took a seat at a table, enjoying the performances of other musicians with only his red balloon and a small glass of milk for company.

When karaoke captain K.J. Boston called him up, Martin took to the stage to perform the new track, All My Love, from Coldplay’s upcoming album, Moon Music. Even while on stage, he continued to hold the vibrant red balloon as some audience members swiftly recognized him and cheered him on while recording the moment.

For those unfamiliar, Coldplay premiered All My Love (acoustic version) in June 2024 during their concert at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece.

Midway through his performance at Dino’s, Martin spotted an audience member named “Trish”and embraced her, gifting her his red balloon before declaring, “Dino’s forever.”He then sang:

“Whether it rains or pours, I’m all yours, La-la, la-la, la, lay, Oh, for now and always, till the end of my days, You’ve got all my love.”

According to Bartolo, the entire event was orchestrated and kept confidential from the staff to ensure Martin could capture an authentic reaction from the audience. Bartolo remarked:

“He sounded great, especially in front of a crowd who doesn’t know you’re coming; these were not people who had paid to see him.”

He added:

“He was pretty vulnerable, but afterward, he ripped off his wig and the place went crazy.”

Earlier that day, Chris Martin and Coldplay performed another one of their latest singles titled We Pray, alongside Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter Elyanna at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Coldplay’s upcoming tenth studio album, Moon Music, is slated for release on October 4, 2024.
