Fans React to BTS’ Jungkook Performing SEVENTEEN’s ‘Super’ in Party Edition of His Solo Documentary

A recent segment from Jungkook’s solo documentary, titled JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL, has excited fans of both BTS and SEVENTEEN. On October 9, BIGHIT MUSIC released a special 50-second video where the talented BTS member showcases his boxing prowess. Viewers were particularly thrilled when Jungkook briefly performed the choreography from SEVENTEEN’s song, “Super.”

As a close friend of SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, Jungkook has expressed his admiration for “Super”multiple times in his Weverse live streams last year. He once mentioned that he learned the choreography from JUN during their gym sessions together. Their camaraderie was further highlighted when Jungkook and Mingyu collaborated on a dance challenge video that gained immense popularity online.

Fans erupted in excitement as he executed the salute pose, followed by key moves from the “Super”chorus. They affectionately dubbed him the “ARMYCARAT president,”a blend of the fandom names of BTS and SEVENTEEN, and took to social media to celebrate Jungkook’s skillful performance.

In August 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC announced the premiere of Jungkook’s first solo documentary named JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL. The film chronicles the eight-month journey of Jungkook as he prepared for his solo musical debut, encompassing the creation of his single “Seven,”the album GOLDEN, and revealing behind-the-scenes moments from his performances across the globe.

The agency characterized the documentary as follows:

“The JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL documentary offers a glimpse into Jung Kook’s evolution into a ‘global pop star’ who has mesmerized audiences worldwide while also highlighting his genuine appreciation for his fans, ARMY.”

The movie had limited screenings worldwide on September 18, 2024. Subsequently, on October 2, BIGHIT MUSIC announced the release of a party edition titled ‘JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL WITH YOU,’ which is an extended version of the original documentary.

This new edition will feature a 20-minute segment with sing-along performance clips. It premiered in South Korea on October 9, 2024, with limited screenings internationally set for October 11, 2024.

Currently, the BTS member is fulfilling his military service and is expected to complete it in 2025.
