He shared that the extended version of his 2021 solo single, Super Tuna 2, would be officially launched just hours later, on October 11 at 1 PM KST.

During the livestream, Jin delighted fans by previewing various clips from the soon-to-be-released music video for Super Tuna 2, effectively giving ARMYs some enticing spoilers.

The playful banter surrounding the livestream amused fans, as Jin appeared unconcerned with the protocol from his agency, BigHit Music.

BTS’ Jin Discusses Super Tuna 2 in His Recent Weverse Livestream

On October 10, BTS’ Jin commenced a Weverse livestream focusing on the forthcoming release of Super Tuna’s extended version.

During this session, Jin shared his excitement regarding the music video, noting that he truly enjoyed the recording experience.

He then mentioned the track’s poster, which was initially intended as a surprise. However, the poster was inadvertently revealed through Apple Music before the official announcement.

“The poster accidentally got released, so people might have seen it. I had planned something else, but anyway, there might be some who are seeing it for the first time right now!”

Jin also shared a story about a tuna he caught, revealing that he went fishing two days prior to wish luck for the release of Super Tuna 2.

“I recently caught a tuna! I could feel it calling for me. Two days ago, I went fishing just to wish Super Tuna well! And here’s a picture. Guys, this isn’t edited. I actually caught one this big.”

He displayed a photo of him holding the sizable tuna he caught:

“This really isn’t edited. I thought people would say it’s fake, so someone filmed me taking a picture with it to prove it. I’ll reveal more details eventually. So yeah, I caught a tuna like… 120? 130? 160? 180cm?”

Before concluding the livestream, Jin mentioned that he had re-recorded the entire song for its extended version. Since the original recording took place four years ago, he felt it necessary to re-record to reflect the changes in his voice over time. He encouraged fans to enjoy the track, which is set for release in just a few hours.
