On Friday, October 11, 2024, HYBE launched an exhibition entitled BTS’ Jimin’s The Truth Untold at LeMERIDIEN Moxy, located at 38 Myeongdong 8na-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul. This event will run through Sunday, November 3, with a spotlight on Jimin’s solo albums, FACE and MUSE.
The exhibition features a variety of awards that Jimin has received throughout his career as a K-pop idol. However, sources indicate that HYBE may have overlooked several significant accolades that Jimin earned, which are not displayed at the exhibition.
This perceived oversight has led to disappointment and frustration among Jimin’s fans online. Supporters of the artist have taken to social media to express their discontent regarding the absence of his awards from the showcase.
“Where is the 1 billion plaque? HYBE keeps finding ways to undermine him,” one user commented on X, sharing their dismay.
The online reactions varied, with some users blaming HYBE for damaging Jimin’s reputation and others highlighting the exclusion of his Spotify 1 Billion Plaque and the LIAA Platinum Plaque for his tracks Like Crazy and WHO.
“I saw a picture earlier, and I thought someone cropped out his awards. Why are some of Jimin’s most ‘important’ accolades missing? The RIAA and Spotify 1B plaques???” a fan remarked.
“Where is the LIAA Platinum Plaque for LIKE CRAZY? The LIAA Double Platinum Plaque for LC? The Spotify 1 BILLION Plaque for LC? Where is the LIAA Platinum Plaque for WHO? BIGHIT IS INCOMPETENT!” commented another user on X.
“People say he is the favorite of the company, but the awards on display don’t even represent a quarter of what Jimin accomplished during the FACE era,” wrote a fan.
While some criticized BIGHIT as “incompetent,”another user found the situation surrounding HYBE to be “hilarious.”
“Where are all of Jimin’s awards? You can’t even do your job properly once?” expressed an admirer.
“Where’s Jimin’s missing billion plaque and so many other awards??? I thought he was the company favorite—how can they not even manage to display the accolades he earned?” one fan remarked.
“I wish they could showcase more of his awards, like his TMA and Spotify billion plaque. Regardless, it doesn’t change the fact that he achieved it on his own. Congratulations, Jimin!” stated a fan.
“HYBE is just hilarious,”wrote another user.

For those unfamiliar, “Smeraldo”translates to “The Untold Truth”in the language of flowers. Jimin’s debut solo album, FACE, was released on March 24, 2023, while MUSE, his follow-up solo collection, debuted on July 19, 2024.
Since December 2023, Jimin has been fulfilling his military service, having enlisted alongside Jungkook, with a scheduled release date in June 2025.
