Recently, fans have been buzzing with their speculations on the Deadlock Voice actors lineup. Despite being in the early alpha stages of development, Deadlock has garnered significant praise and admiration from the gaming community, even leading to tournaments with cash prizes. However, the voice cast remains a mystery, fueling widespread fan theories about who may be lending their voices to the characters.
A popular thread on the official Deadlock Subreddit was started by user u/MoonRaito, sharing their thoughts on the Deadlock Voice actors.
One fan speculated that the laser-throwing robot, Bebop, is voiced by J.B. Blanc, who is acclaimed for his performance in Netflix’s animated series adaptation of League of Legends, Arcane.
“I’m fairly certain that Bebop is voiced by J.B. Blanc.”
Another fan theorized that the female announcer who guides and motivates players during matches is voiced by Ellen McLain, renowned for her roles in iconic Valve games such as Portal and Team Fortress 2.
“One of the announcers is definitely Ellen McLain of GladOS/TF2 fame.”
A different fan mentioned their belief that the briefcase-wielding character Pocket and the undead sniper Vindicta are voiced by Greg Chun and Eden Riegel, respectively. Both actors have extensive experience in voicing characters across various video games and animated series.
“Pocket is most definitely Greg Chun, I’m 90% sure Vindicta is Eden Riegel.”
Based on fan speculations, the potential Deadlock voice actors lineup includes:
- Bebop – J.B. Blanc (known for similar voices like Vander from Arcane, and Braum from League of Legends)
- Mo & Krill – Matthew Mercer or Ray Chase (there’s some uncertainty as both names have been mentioned)
- Dynamo – John Patrick Lowrie (voice recognized from Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2)
- Announcer (Male) – Peter Cullen (or James Spader, noted for similarities to Optimus Prime)
- Announcer (Female) – Debra Wilson or Ellen McLain (Debra Wilson is known for voicing Savathun in Destiny 2, while Ellen McLain is famous for GLaDOS in Portal)
- Lash – Andrew Bowen (voice of Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat), though Gavin Drea (Male V in Cyberpunk 2077) is also a possibility
- Pocket – Greg Chun (recognized from AI: The Somnium Files)
- Revenge – Eden Riegel
- Warden – Gabe Kunda
- Greytalon – Robbie Daymond
- Haze – Erika Ishii or Gin Hammond (noted similarity to Drow Ranger from Dota 2)
- Wraith – Cherise Boothe (voice of Sojourn from Overwatch), or John Patrick Lowrie
- Paradox – Elle Newlands or Ashley Burch (noted similarities to Horizon from Apex Legends)
- Seven – Michael Dorn or Ramon Tikaram
- Abrams – Samoa Joe (known for King Shark in Suicide Squad)
- Ivy – Ashley Burch, Laura Bailey, or Fryda Wolff

It’s important to note that these are all fan speculations, and there is a possibility that many of the names listed for the Deadlock voice cast may not be accurate. Valve has not released any official confirmations or announcements regarding the cast.
While there have been hints about a possible story mode with fully voiced lines during cutscenes, details about the artists behind those lines remain ambiguous.
Do the characters interact with each other in Deadlock?
In addition to the story mode, players can hear the characters converse when performing specific actions, such as scoring kills, purchasing new items, and taking down towers. Additionally, characters engage in dialogue under certain circumstances. For instance, if you eliminate Bebop while playing as Lash (or vice versa), unique dialogue is triggered, as is the case with Abrams and Seven, Haze and Wraith, among others.
