In this pivotal episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Ronnie visited Lamar Odom’s Recovery Centre. He confessed that during his first stint at the rehabilitation facility, he was not ready to change. However, after experiencing significant challenges in his life, he returned with a serious commitment to the program.

Ronnie expressed a desire to connect with others in recovery, recognizing the unique “platform”he possessed compared to many others. Upon discovering he would become a father, he pledged to abstain from drinking, but regretfully, he relapsed into alcohol addiction. He recounted:

“Unfortunately she [Ariana] was there to see my actions that day, and when I tried to talk to her, she wouldn’t even look at me. That was heartbreaking to me; at that point, it was like, I can’t live this moment again.”

As a parent, Ronnie felt a deep sense of responsibility to protect his child and acknowledged his previous failures. Understanding that his actions would affect Ariana’s future, he committed to working on himself and becoming a better person every day. Ultimately, he expressed that having his daughter with him now was all that truly mattered.
