Lee Dong-wook, the beloved South Korean actor, recently unveiled his very own light stick, which sparked a flurry of amusing reactions from fans across social media. On October 17, he took to Instagram to share a video featuring this exciting merchandise, capturing not only the item’s design but also his humorous response to it, which resonated with many fans.
For those unfamiliar, light sticks are a staple of K-pop merchandise, typically wielded by fans to cheer for their favorite artists during concerts and performances. While it’s uncommon for actors to have their own light sticks, notable figures in the industry like Jung Hae-in from Love Next Door, Park Bo-gum of Wonderland fame, and Park Eun-bin, known for her role in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, have also joined the trend with their own light sticks.
In Lee Dong-wook’s recent video, he amusingly demonstrated how to use the light stick, explaining its functionality in low-light conditions. The light stick features a sparkling orb adorned with the latter part of his name, “WOOK,” at its center. During the video, the Goblin star even jokingly inquired whether the light stick could make phone calls, leaving fans in stitches.
This light stick reveal created quite a commotion online, with fans sharing their thoughts on Lee Dong-wook’s comical reaction. One user on X tweeted:
“This man is too funny.”
Many other fans expressed similar sentiments, showcasing their amusement.
“This is like that ‘if you want to try, try lah, if you don’t want to, don’t lah’ review,” noted another fan.
“The best part of seeing these clips of LDW is his reactions – he either looks uninterested or annoyed,” a user observed.
Fans continued their hilarious commentary on Lee Dong-wook and his light stick.
“Are there any other features? Like, can it take phone calls? Someone please assist this ajusshi,” another fan quipped.
“This man is like the ultimate level of unbothered and I love him,” a fan expressed.

Many netizens acknowledged his commitment to his fans by revealing this official light stick.
“I want this light stick from Lee Dong-wook… It’s so pretty,” a user shared.
“I never thought Dong-wook would make such an effort for his fan meeting. After introducing a fandom name, now he’s suddenly dropping an official light stick while filming a drama. His effort, sincerity, and devotion to NEOHEE, along with his time management skills, continue to amaze me. This man can do it all,” another user remarked.
“The transition from him asking about its usage to him cheering is absolutely adorable,” a fan noted.
