Fans Hilariously React to BTS’ Jin & Sandeul Falling for Staff’s Fake Probe RUN JIN Prank

The tenth episode of RUN JIN premiered on BTS’ official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. In this exciting installment, BTS member Jin was joined by his close companion Sandeul from the K-pop ensemble B1A4. The episode launched with the two friends embarking on a yacht for a leisurely fishing trip at sea.

Things took a comedic turn when the production crew played a prank by impersonating Coast Guard officers, approaching in a nearby yacht. The phony officials demanded to see the idols’ IDs and interrogated them about fishing in restricted waters. This unexpected situation made both Jin and Sandeul visibly anxious, as they genuinely believed they were facing the real Coast Guard.

Sandeul appeared increasingly alarmed, glancing nervously at the fake officials, while Jin silently looked to the director, seeking assistance. Once the crew revealed it was all in good fun, the two idols were momentarily at a loss for words. Sandeul humorously remarked that he might think twice before accepting another fishing invitation from Jin due to this frightening experience.

Fans were quick to share their laughter on X (formerly Twitter), amused by Jin’s initial thoughts of potential news headlines, mistaking the prank for a genuine situation. One user tweeted:

“He was already contemplating possible media headlines about this.”

Viewers commented on the sheer panic etched on the idols’ faces as they conjured up potential responses from the Korean media.

“Dalbang staff had been starved for ideas for two years, finally unleashing their creativity because poor Seokjin and Sandeul didn’t even get a chance to fish,”a fan jested.

“I doubt Jin even knows where his ID is. He likely just asks anyone attempting to ID him, ‘Do you know BTS?’,”wrote another fan.

“The fear in their eyes,”one more fan remarked.

Many noted the idol’s dread of possibly facing serious consequences.

“The way the staff pranked Jin and Sandeul, making them think they were about to be interrogated or held,”another follower mentioned.

“Sandeul claimed he’ll have to rethink future fishing invites from Jin because of this prank,”another added.

“The manner in which staff tricked Jin and Sandeul made it feel as though they had been caught and needed an interrogation… Jin was so surprised, he appeared terrified,”a fan commented.
