On October 2, 2024, Victoria’s Secret unveiled the official trailer for the highly awaited Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, featuring BLACKPINK’s Lisa, on their official Instagram account.
Last month, it was confirmed that the K-pop idol would take the stage to perform at the fashion event. The announcement has since sent the K-pop community into a frenzy, especially following the release of the trailer showcasing Lisa.
The trailer opens dramatically with a model adorned in an all-black outfit complete with golden wings. A voice in the background announces the much-anticipated Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024, set to be held live from New York City. It also lists star performers for the event, including BLACKPINK’s Lisa, singer Tyla, and a special performance from Cher.
Following the release of the trailer featuring BLACKPINK’s Lisa, social media erupted with excitement from fans. One user on X commented under the Instagram post:
“We are so excited for our Rockstar.”
The fans enthusiastically praised BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s appearance in the official trailer, elevating her status as the Queen of K-pop.

In February 2024, the rapper established her own management company, LLOUD, and later signed an exclusive deal with RCA Records in partnership with Lloud on April 10, 2024, allowing her to release solo music while maintaining full ownership of her recordings.
On June 28, 2024, she released her digital single Rockstar through Lloud and RCA Records, with a music video directed by Henry Schofield and featuring choreography by Sean Bankhead, filmed in Bangkok. She followed this with her second digital single, New Woman, a collaboration with Rosalia, which launched on August 16, 2024.
The highly anticipated digital single is set for release on October 4, 2024. Lisa is also known for her performances of tracks such as Money, Lalisa, New Woman, and Rockstar at various music festivals.
Moreover, she recently earned the title of Best K-pop artist at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on September 11, 2024, where she wowed the audience with a performance medley of New Woman and Rockstar.
