Fans Celebrate “Comeback of the Decade” as BABYMONSTER Reveals First Full-Length Album Title: Drip

On October 7, 2024, YG Entertainment made an exciting announcement regarding the K-pop sensation BABYMONSTER, revealing that their highly anticipated first full-length album titled Drip will hit the shelves on November 1, 2024, at 1 PM Korean Standard Time (KST). This news sparked a wave of enthusiasm among fans, who eagerly took to social media to express their delight.

Alongside the announcement, a promotional video was released, unveiling the album’s tracklist and the meaning behind each song, which further fueled the excitement among the fanbase. One enthusiastic X user proclaimed:

Details about BABYMONSTER’s Album Drip

YG Entertainment has confirmed that BABYMONSTER’s debut album Drip will boast nine tracks, including CLIK CLAK, Drip, Love, Maybe, Really Like You, Billionaire, Love In My Heart, Wake Up In Tokyo, Forever, and Batter Up (remix).

Opening the album is the track CLIK CLAK, which features all members contributing their rapping skills. The lyrics for this energetic piece were crafted by Malaynah, Ricky Luna, Rolando Luna, CHOICE37, and MASTA WU, while the composition credit goes to Ricky Luna, Rolando Luna, and Keith Bykoff.

The title track Drip is penned by Sandra Wikstrom, YG, AiRPLAY, MASTA WU, CHOICE37, and Sonny, with musical composition by AiRPLAY, Illjun, Sandra Wikstrom, and G-Dragon.

The third song, Love, Maybe, features songwriting by Sandra Wikstrom, CHOICE37, and AiRPLAY, while its composition is credited to AiRPLAY, Sandra Wikstrom, and Ends.

Another track, Really Like You, was co-written by Ryan Bickley, Jonny Hockings, YG, Mino, and Bigtone, with music produced by AiRPLAY, Ryan Bickley, Jonny Hockings, Freedo, and Ends.

The song Billionaire is the result of collaboration among Lauren Aquilina, CHOICE37, and Sandra Wikstrom. Its production credits go to CHOICE37, LP, Lauren Aquilina, Sandra Wikstrom, Sonny, and LIL G. In addition, Love In My Heart was co-written by Where The Noise, Jared Lee, YG, Asa, and Ruka, and composed by Diggy, Jared Lee, and Kang Uk-Jin.

The penultimate track, Wake Up In Tokyo, features contributions from Kyler Niko, Wonderframe, Ricky Luna, Daboyway, Jonathan Keyes, CHOICE37, Ruka, and Asa, with composition by Rickly Luna and Rolando Luna. Only Ruka and Asa will perform this song from BABYMONSTER.

Lastly, the closing track, Batter Up (remix), has been arranged by DEE.P.

BABYMONSTER, also referred to as Baemon, is comprised of seven talented members: Pharita, Ruka, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, Rami, and Chiquita. The group made their official debut in April 2024 with their EP, BabyMons7er, released through YG Entertainment. This extended play features seven tracks including Monsters (Intro), Sheesh, Like That, Stuck in the Middle (version), Batter Up, Dream, and Stuck in the Middle (remix version).
