In an interview with Vogue Japan, Jin spoke about his solo career, values, and creative inspirations. He admitted that while his solo ventures provide him with greater freedom, they also induce some nervousness. Conversely, working as part of BTS offers him a sense of comfort and ease, knowing that he can count on his bandmates.
Discussing the concepts of happiness and treasure, he expressed that the joy of his fans, known as ARMY, represents his highest priority. Jin stated that the happiness he brings to ARMY reciprocates back to him, sharing,
“The most important thing in my life is happiness. The people who make me happy are my fans, the ARMY. If I can make ARMY happy, then they make me happy too. I need to keep going for them (laughs).”
