EVO Japan 2025 Unveils Exciting Updates for Tekken 8
At the recent EVO Japan 2025 event, Bandai Namco announced that Fahkumram, a popular character introduced in Tekken 7, will be joining the roster as a downloadable content (DLC) character for Tekken 8 this coming Summer 2025. In conjunction with his arrival, gamers can anticipate an array of both free and paid Pac-Man themed cosmetics to enhance their gaming experience.
Free and Paid Content Coming Soon
Before the launch of Fahkumram, players can look forward to complimentary items inspired by the iconic Karate Kid franchise, set to be available with the release of version 2.02 on June 3, 2025. This exciting content will feature a Karate Kid: Legends Hoodie that players can equip on their characters, along with special vision billboards showcasing promotions for the film. Additionally, while some cosmetics are free, players can purchase exclusive items like a Tiger costume for Kuma and a Calico costume for Panda. Both characters will also receive free color scheme costumes, along with a unique Dragunov costume for purchase.
Exciting Additions for Summer 2025
Version 2.03, set to launch in Summer 2025, will bring the highly anticipated Battle Stage: Pac-Pixels—part of the Season 2 Character and Stage Pass. This update will also introduce free Pac-Man Hit Effects and other themed items in Fight Pass Round 6, including a 45th anniversary t-shirt, a Plushie Ghost Pack, and a Pac-Man Ball for use in Tekken Ball. Those opting for paid content in Fight Pass Round 6 will receive exclusive items such as a Pac-Man Head, along with various themed emojis, enhancing the playful atmosphere of the game.

The teaser for Fahkumram in Tekken 8 offers a brief glimpse of action, showcasing him descending onto the battlefield. Upon freeing himself from restraints, he boldly announces to an unseen enemy that they are his next target. This impactful moment sets the stage for his inclusion in the game.
