Fae Farm PC Online Multiplayer Features Removed, Game Now Single-Player Only

Significant Update: Fae Farm to Remove Online Multiplayer Support

In a recent announcement, Phoenix Labs revealed crucial changes to the Steam product page for the PC edition of Fae Farm. The game will discontinue its online multiplayer functionality, which will be replaced with an exclusively offline, single-player experience. This transition will officially take place at 11:59 PM PT on September 10, 2025, which corresponds to 2:59 AM ET on September 11, 2025.[Thanks to Delisted Games for the update!]

About the Support Change

The official statement regarding this change is clear and concise, stating:

“Fae Farm will be going offline September 10, 2025 at 23:59 Pacific Time. The online co-op service will no longer be available, and the game will receive no future updates. The single player offline mode will remain playable.”

The Multiplayer Experience Prior to Changes

Previously, the online multiplayer capability of Fae Farm allowed players to engage in cooperative gameplay with up to four players. Unlike console versions, which depended heavily on friends lists, the Steam version facilitated friend connections via either the existing friends list or through the Phoenix Labs account system. Actions undertaken by the group had direct implications for the host’s game world, requiring collaboration and shared progress.

Current Status on Other Platforms

As of now, there have been no comparable announcements regarding Fae Farm on alternative gaming platforms. Notably, the Epic Games Store has removed its product page, which now returns a 404 error. Neither the Microsoft Store nor the PlayStation Store have issued updates concerning the game’s status. Furthermore, while the Nintendo eShop listing remains unchanged, it is worth noting that players on Nintendo systems can still initiate local wireless co-op through LAN sessions with up to four players.

Availability of Fae Farm

Currently, Fae Farm is accessible on various platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The announcement underlines that online multiplayer support for the Steam version will officially end on September 10, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT (or September 11, 2025, at 2:59 AM ET).
