Fact Check: Did Megan Fox Delete Her Tweets Following Usher and P!nk Amid Viral Diddy Scandal?

Following the arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs for s*x trafficking and racketeering on September 23, numerous X users speculated that Megan Fox was deleting a significant number of her tweets. This speculation arises in the wake of similar actions taken by Usher and P!nk. While Usher and P!nk did indeed scrub their X accounts, Megan Fox did not engage in such actions.

Twitter user @LizCrokin was among those alleging that “she’s wiped most of her tweets on X and all her posts on Instagram.” Another user, @FearedBuck, added:

“Usher deleted over 7000 tweets earlier this morning. Now, Megan Fox has deleted almost all of her tweets dating back to 2013. Both are known to be heavily involved with Diddy.”

At the time of reporting, the tweets had amassed millions of views collectively.

However, despite the rampant rumors regarding Fox’s tweet deletions, the truth is quite different. X’s Community Notes clarified that the Transformers star has not been active on the platform since January 2013.

Megan Fox Has Not Deleted Tweets Amidst Diddy’s Arrest

X’s Community Notes reaffirmed that Fox has not participated on the platform since early 2013, making it improbable for her to return to delete any old tweets. The community note stated:

“Megan Fox didn’t delete her Tweets. Megan used it for less than a week in January 2013 before quitting Twitter.”

In that same year, Megan Fox took to Facebook to address her absence from X (previously known as Twitter), stating:

“Some of you may or may not have noticed by now that my Twitter account has been shut down. I thought 2013 might be the year that I finally blossomed into a social networking butterfly, but it turns out, I still hate it. Love you guys but will just never be that girl. Facebook is as much as I can handle. I’m sorry.”

Moreover, Megan Fox has not deleted her Instagram posts in light of the recent federal investigation involving Diddy. However, in May 2024, she did wipe her photos and unfollow everyone in celebration of her 38th birthday.

Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that Fox did not engage in similar behavior as Usher and P!nk following Diddy’s arrest.

The Curious Case of Usher and P!nk’s X Activity

Many netizens observed that Usher had cleared his X account, with P!nk following closely behind. Speculation arose that the actions were taken to remove any evidence linking them to Diddy. In past interviews, Usher has recounted experiences living with Combs at age 14, where he noted a series of “very curious things.” Notably, in a 2004 interview with Rolling Stone, he discussed being introduced to a “different” type of “s*x.” Usher elaborated:

“S*x is so hot in the industry, man. There was always girls around. You’d open a door and see somebody doing it, or several people in a room having an o*gy. You never knew what was going to happen.”

Currently, there is no public record of P!nk having any sort of relationship with Diddy; however, reports from Fortune indicate that she only retweeted him twice in 2016 and 2017.

Meanwhile, Diddy remains incarcerated while awaiting his trial date, having been denied bail on multiple occasions.
